About our Mixed Ages martial arts class
Suitable for anyone aged 6yrs and over, our Mixed Class is perfect for kids, teens and adults to share the mat and work towards achieving their black belt.
Our world is increasingly fast-paced and ever changing. Distractions are everywhere that slow us down and disconnect us from the people we’re around, while quick fixes to problems are becoming the unrealistic expectation. On top of this, lack of confidence and peer pressure affect many.
But, it doesn’t have to be this way.
Many are turning to activities that improve their overall wellness to navigate the pressures of everyday life with empowerment. Our way at Dojang X is through teaching you Soo Bahk Do.
If you’re a parent looking to develop a closer bond with your child and take a break from technology, this class is the go-to choice.
For other teens and adult who wished that you had taken a martial art as a kid, or looking for a fitness activity that’s fun, sustainable with clear progression every step of the way – it’s not too late!
With Soo Bahk Do at our Club, you’ll undertake a mental and physical transformation journey. We’re here to support you at every step of the way.
What You'll Learn

Body Co-ordination

Self-defence

Flexibility and Fitness

Our Belt System

The Soo Bahk Do Moo Duk Kwan® belt system follows our martial arts development in accordance with Nature.
Your black belt journey starts at 10th geup (white belt). The white belt represents Winter and hidden potential.
The green belt ranks represent Spring and mark the start of the intermediate level training for our practitioners.
Summer is marked by our red belt ranks – full of energy and motivation as they are approaching black belt status.
Our black belt (Dan) ranks approach Autumn and the harvest period. They are rewarded for all the hard work over the years to achieve the goal they had set out to achieve when they started.
The journey continues into the Master level ranks (4th Dan and above) for those who embrace the martial art as part of their lifestyle.
