Serving the locals of Abingdon, Sutton Courtenay and the surrounding Oxfordshire villages, we’re on a mission to get more people active for a healthier and fitter future whilst creating leaders and role models in our community. 

Our Purpose

Health, fitness and confidence are key areas that we all need to focus on to achieve this.

Unfortunately, in today’s world we’re facing increased mental and physical health issues that’s related to a lack of exercise. It also has a knock-on effect with our confidence and self-esteem. It’s time that we take action for a more positive future.

At Dojang X, we teach the traditional Korean martial art of Soo Bahk Do. Though our martial arts training and supportive club environment, you’ll find a fun activity that sustains your fitness for the longer term. You’ll also learn valuable self-defense skills and boost your confidence in the process so that you can lead in life.

A Message From The Instructor

Hi! I’m Sabrina!

I’m a 3rd Dan (black belt), certified fitness professional and the instructor at Dojang X!

Growing up, I didn’t enjoy exercise or sport and wasn’t supported to improve. My inactive lifestyle made me unfit, overweight and lacking in confidence.  It was only when I was a young adult that I realised that I needed to take ownership of my life.

I wanted something that would challenge me to constantly improve and to motivate me to exercise for the long term.  My search led me to trial a Soo Bahk Do class…and the rest is history!

Dojang X exists so that we can all find the fun in fitness and learn self-defense skills whilst boosting our self-confidence to be ambitious with our goals.

Our instructor is a 2nd Dan with fitness qualifications that include Personal Training and Strength and Conditioning. She also regularly trains and attends events in the UK and globally to further her practise.

Little Ninjas
(4 - 5 year olds)

Start your child early in Soo Bahk Do to build strong foundations for future exceptional martial artists and leaders in life…not to mention a great way for them to burn off that extra energy!

Kids Class
(6 - 12 years old)

Your child’s black belt journey starts here in our tailored kids class for 6 – 12 years old. Students in this class follow the same syllabus as the mixed class, with the added benefit of making friends with other local kids!  

Family Class
(6+ years old)

Your black belt journey starts here in our family class for anyone 6+ years old. This is a mixed class – so train with family members or start on your own. Either way, you’ll quickly make new friends!
